How to Register Your Unit Online & Register for Merit Badges

 1) Click Here or go to www.tentaroo.com/greatsw

 2) Create a New Account. Make sure to choose Summer Camp as the event and press Continue

 3) Complete the account registration form.

 4) Once the registration form has been completed, check the e-mail account you provided on the registration form for an activation link sent by Tentaroo. Once you have activated your account, you will be asked to login.

 5) Once logged in, select Summer Camp and select Add Event Registration.

 6) You will get a pop-up window asking you to choose which camp session your unit is registering for. Select that session and click continue

 7) You will then be given another popup where you can input how many Youth and Adults you anticipate to Camp. You will have the opportunity to change these numbers later on, but please try and get as close as possible to the actual numbers. Then click save.

 8) You will receive another popup asking for you to make a payment. This payment is the unit reservation fee and is required to save space for your unit to attend camp. Once you make the unit reservation payment, you will be able to start registering youth to attend camp. 

9) Once you have made your reservation payment, at the home page, select "Your Roster." At this screen, you will be able to input all the youth and adults with their information. This step is NOT how you register each individual, but important to be able to register each individual. Continue to click "Add Adults" and "Add Youth" until you have input all your participants into the system.

10) Once you have finished adding all your participants to your roster, select "Event Registration" from the menu. You will then be taken to a screen that looks like the image below. From there, select "New" for a youth participant.

11) You will be given a popup for that participant like the first image below. Select a single participant and select "Create Registration." You will be given another popup with that individuals information. Ensure that individuals information is correct and then select "Continue to Pick Classes" to register them for their individual Merit Badges. 


12) You will then be given a list of Merit Badges available. This step can be kind of complicated. It has a time posted for that merit badge, but ignore that time. Our online registration uses Time Blocks, and the time block system works as such:

Timeblock 1 = 8:30 - 9am             Timeblock 7 = 1:30 - 2pm
Timeblock 2 = 9 - 9:30am             Timeblock 8 = 2 - 2:30pm
Timeblock 3 - 9:30 - 10am            Timeblock 9 = 2:30 - 3pm
Timeblock 4 = 10 - 10:30am         Timeblock 10 = 3 - 3:30pm
Timeblock 5 = 10:30 - 11am         Timeblock 11 = 3:30 - 4pm
Timeblock 6 = 11 - 1130am          Timeblock 12 = 4 - 4:30pm

You will be able to select the merit badges desired by their time blocks by dragging the class into the current schedule box. If there is a merit badge in the current schedule box, merit badges that share the same time blocks will dissapear from the Available Classes box. Once you have placed all their merit badges that they will take in the Current Schedule Box, press "Save."

13) Complete the previous step for each individual, including adults. Once you have completed this step, go back to the home page and complete the payment for your participant registrations. Once you have done that, you are all set, and your unit and youth will be completely registered.
