Boy Scouts & adult Scouters can earn the NM Nuclear History Trails Award by completing the following requirements:
- Complete the Nuclear Science Merit Badge (Scouters can meet this requirement by familiarizing themselves with the contents of the Nuclear Science Merit Badge Pamphlet)
- Visit one of New Mexico's Nuclear Museums:
- Albuquerque: www.nuclearmuseum.org
- Los Alamos: www.lanl.gov/museum
- KAFB: Defense Nuclear Weapons School
- Visit Trinity Site: Open to public 1st Saturday in April
- Attend a lecture or view a film on the history of the Manhattan Project (see list)
